Brainstorm Blog: Webventure

For my webventure, I think a little life simulation game would be fun. At first, I wanted to utilize aliens as my characters for the game, but I then decided that I want to dive further into my “Wormiverse” that I had created with my animation project. To do this, I think it’s going to be something like choose where you want to go first and it’ll be an office, a club, or a coffee shop. In each of these different locations, there would be different worm characters that you can talk to and/or interact with. Each worm character would lead to different possibilities of how your day will go and these will result in different outcomes. For example, if you go to the office and choose to speak to the mean and angry boss, you could be demoted or promoted based on what you say to him. Or if you talk to the drunk and dancing worm in the club, you could be a gentleworm and take her home safely or leave her. In the end, these decisions will result in different end game outcomes like being single and alone forever, being homeless, being happily married with a kid, etc.. For my office options, you can choose to speak with your boss who is currently yelling and angry when you walk in, chat with your coworker, or sit alone in your cubicle. For the club, we have the drunk girl, chill guy drinking, or you can leave. And for the coffee shop, you have the mean business man who is on the phone, an empty table, or a girl reading a book. What worm fate will you choose?
